flat iron is the best value for money steak restaurant ever. the quality of food we got is insane compared to the low prices. when you enter, you get a free popcorn bucket which was a nice little starter. we were served by zara, she was amazing and super friendly. the food came really quickly! we ordered the wagyu bavette medium rare and it came perfectly cooked with a delicious crust. it was a very good cut of meat, not stringy at all, and the marbling had rendered well giving it a deep flavour. the creamed spinach was delicious and the chips were crispy. the peppercorn sauce had a deep and smooth flavour, and the bernaise sauce went perfectly with the wagyu. cocktails are great and so is the beer selection. at the end of our visit, we were given small tokens to exchange for free ice cream! the atmosphere is calming and rustic, with lit candles on the table giving a romantic vibe. 10/10 experience and we will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I went here earlier today for the first time and it did not disappoint! We were served by Matty who was brilliant. He explained the types of steaks available very clearly and my wife and I for the Wagyu Bavette and the Featherblade respectively. Cooked to perfection it melts in your mouth. Side of IPA and ice cream to wrap up. 10/10 experience and taste. Definitely will be coming back with the mini cleaver and try the burger instead! 😃

A great dining experience! We tried Scottish Bavette this time and it's very meaty and juicy. Kale salad is surprisingly good and the macaroni cheese never lets us down. Thank you for the recommendation! The staff is very lovely and brought us BD dessert after they happened to know we were celebrating. Shout out for Oliver's 1 first class service while all the staff are so adorable!

Took my Son out for his 13th Birthday and he said he fancied steak. I'd heard some people at work talking about this place but I'd never been (I had been previously when this used to be a burger place?). We were shown to our table with some water and popcorn. We were asked if we wanted drinks but we were happy with just the water, which was fine. The menu is simple and straightforward. We both ordered the Flat Iron Steak, a few sides to share, and some sauces. The food took maybe twentyfive minutes to come, and the place was fairly busy with most tables having someone sat at them (5pm on a Sunday). The steak was lovely, as were the sides, and sauce. We both really enjoyed it, and my Son said it was the best steak he'd ever had (he doesn't get out to eat steak that often tbf). Will definitely come again some time for a special occasion again. The free icecream cone on exit was nice too, a little extra touch that I'm sure he really appreciated.

I have been 6-7 times and it never disappoints, the truffle Mac and cheese are out of this world! As so is everything else. Special thanks to Ronan who served us tonight and also took the time to explain to us how they make the food taste so good ! See you soon
