We visited this restaurant to celebrate my mum’s 52nd birthday, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The place itself looked absolutely stunning — beautifully decorated, warm, and inviting from the moment we walked in. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive; they were always nearby when we needed something, without ever feeling intrusive. What made the night even more special was how they treated my mum on her birthday. They put so much thought and care into making her feel celebrated, and for that I’m genuinely grateful. It turned a simple dinner into a memory we’ll keep for a long time. The food was outstanding — every dish was full of flavour and perfectly prepared. The drinks were just as impressive, well-made and delicious. It’s rare to find a place that gets both the atmosphere and the food this right. I would recommend this restaurant to absolutely everyone, whether you’re celebrating something special or just want a great meal. We’ll definitely be visiting again!
The restaurant’s decor is beautiful. I ordered the Bolognese, which tasted good. But I don't know how I feel about the service. While taking my order, the waiter abruptly told me to wait and started serving another table. The same thing happened with the bill; despite asking first, I was left waiting while the table next to me received theirs immediately, so I had to ask again. It was quite a frustrating experience.
A beautiful Italian restaurant in the Heart of Leeds. I was very impressed with the design of this place, very classy and stunning looks. The staff impressed me a lot, a nice welcome, very professional, and made a clear effort to make things right. As my mum wanted to order a cocktail, there was a missing ingredient in it so she couldn't get that but on the house, the staff offered us some shots which was very nice of them. The staff was friendly and attentive too. The food and drinks were beautiful presented and tasted very nice. With the atmosphere, I have no words to describe it as the look of this place gives it away! It's clear that what they do it exceptional and out standing. I definitely recommend coming here and I will definitely be coming back! 😍
Kevin was the most excellent waiter! We will ask for him again. Perfect Italian pronunciation and hospitality. Kevin makes great drinks, as well. We enjoyed ourselves and the meal.
We came in for an early Sunday dinner without a reservation. The restaurant itself is spacious, with a pleasant atmosphere and friendly waiting staff. However, I felt the food was overpriced for what it was. We ordered a risotto and ravioli. As I had chosen the ravioli, I asked whether the dish was made on site. The manager who served us explained that it wasn’t prepared in-house but was made for them elsewhere, adding that I shouldn’t worry as “it’s not from Tesco.” Maybe funny but since I am a foodie and interested in where my food comes from I felt dismissed. When my dish arrived—Pumpkin & ricotta ravioli with fried sage leaves, crushed hazelnuts, pecorino, and black pepper—it looked rather underwhelming. Only semi-crisp sage leaves were present, which meant just one of the three garnishes listed on the menu. Given that the ravioli wasn’t freshly made on site but simply boiled and plated, this felt like a significant oversight, especially at £19.50 plus service charge. I asked for the missing garnishes to be added, and the waitress, following the manager’s instruction, took my plate back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, it returned with only hazelnuts added—still no pecorino or black pepper. By this point, my partner was halfway through his meal, so I decided to continue with mine. I would have expected the manager to come over, apologise, and perhaps offer a reduction on the bill or a complimentary gesture, particularly as the restaurant was running Black Friday deals. Instead, nothing was offered, and I left feeling disappointed with Gino experience.
