Been here twice and it is just incredible! I've had Bhan Mi in Asian currents and Vietnam not as good as these, the bread is so light and crunchy which is by far the most important part. Where other most Bahn Mi places have really had thick bread that hurts your mouth, LeSon has wonderful thing crunchy bread with the perfect snap. The balance of all the sauces with meat and vegetables is great. I highly recommend the special or belly pork Bahn Mi. There's upstairs seating area for mix of larger and smaller groups and a downstairs area with small tables. The atmosphere nice and calming a great place to people watch from the upstairs window too. Highly recommend!
What a lovely place honestly great food and amazing service in a pleasantly decorated restaurant (could do with some cushions on wicker seats) we had Crispy spring rolls to start which were so good we ordered more ! Chicken and sticky rice which was perfectly cooked and very very tasty. The outstanding dish for me was the Hue Beef Noodle which was huge and super tasty the broth and meat were both superb. What made everything the more special was the service by a lovely lady who was attentive without being intrusive … top marks all round and a big thanks to all ! Ps Uber dog friendly as well allowing both inside and outside seating.
LeSon is a real gem in Leeds. The food is absolutely delicious, full of authentic Vietnamese flavours and beautifully presented. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced, and the portion sizes were very generous. The staff were friendly, welcoming,
The scenery is nice, especially the seats at the first floor near the window. Staff are nice. Toilet are clean. The food choice available is good. But personally I think the plating, the flavour and the texture of the food is not of the type of the Vietnamese in my memory, but still acceptable. I am not sure it may be from a different part of Vietnam, where North South is different. Comparatively, the egg coffee with condensed milk is quite nice. The three layers of flavour have a very good balance. The openning hours of the cafe is quite long. Maybe it is a good place for people to be thought of.
A very heartwarming Vietnamese restaurant with cosy decor and lots of lovely small plants. I personally love hidden gems like this! The staff were incredibly friendly, and both the beef pho and Vietnamese coffee were excellent.
