Meal for two -😛 Called up before and was told to just walk in as wasn’t sure if we could get a table during Xmas period. Received a lovely reception and didn’t feel rushed to finish at all. We always go on random nights here and they were always good! Tiny tiny criticism is that maybe the prawns weren’t as fresh as they could’ve been as it was a little mushy. Everything else was on point.
San Carlo is a nice restaurant. It clearly has a posh vibe to it, so with this information you know what you’re getting yourself into; (in terms of attire and price point). Smart casual is the way to go. Anyway the food is nice, prepared typically Italian (so set your expectations). This particular restaurant was busy (again which is a good thing as it is popular). Importantly the restaurant was clean. The service was nice. all in all, I recommend it
A favourite to visit. We have been dining here for years. Always a top notch experience and the same applies for our latest visit. Best spag bol in town.
Carmelo looked after us really well. Great food recommendations and my friend’s allergies were well looked after - thank you for a lovely evening and delicious food!! Thank you :)
Carmelo was incredible and the team was really lovely. The food was great I would come and have another plate. I would have another lemoncello with Carmelo.
