What a meal. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and the food lives up to the setting. We were served by Deriel, who was extremely attentive and made the experience even more enjoyable. A big bonus is that they offer halal options. Here’s what we ordered: Lobster and Prawn Toast – Delicious bite-sized rounds coated in toasted sesame seeds and served with a light lime foam. 10/10 Chinese BBQ Chicken – Perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and served with a small portion of roasted vegetables. 9/10 Kung Po Prawns – A generous portion of spicy, saucy, batter-coated prawns served with roasted lotus root. The lotus root was excellent, but the prawns weren’t quite to my taste. 5/10 Vegetable Fried Rice – A generous portion of flavourful, well-cooked fried rice. 9/10 Pear Sticky Toffee Pudding – Served with toffee sauce and a scoop of ice cream. Nicely done, but a little too heavy for my taste. 6/10 Cherry Blossom – A true showstopper. A candy floss and dark chocolate blossom tree set on a mousse and biscuit garden. 10/10 Overall, a great dining experience with standout presentation and attentive service. Would definitely recommend.
Recently ate at Tattu Leeds to celebrate a special occasion, and from the moment we arrived, it felt like the perfect choice. We began with drinks at the bar, where Paisly, the mixologist, set the tone beautifully. She was friendly, professional, and instantly welcoming, creating that ideal first impression that carried through the rest of our dining experience. Once seated, we were taken care of by Connor, who was absolutely fantastic. He went above and beyond, even taking the time to explain the ingredients in many of the sauces when I asked. And honestly, those sauces could be sold separately - they were THAT good! Every dish was exceptional, both in taste and presentation👌. The flavours were unique, refined, and wonderfully balanced. Definitely arrive hungry and savour every single bite! Tattu also offers great vegetarian options, which was lovely to see. Throughout the meal, Connor’s attentiveness and warm approach made our experience feel truly special. As incredible as the food was, it’s the service that will bring us back. A special mention for the sake - TRY IT! I’ve already gone on to purchase the Plum Ashaki Tai sake since our visit 😂 Overall, this was such a memorable experience with outstanding service.
Our favourite restaurant in Leeds. Our 'go to' for special occasion / celebration meals. The food, service and surroundings are all amazing. We have eaten here multiple times, and have never had any complaints. Our server tonight, Ryan, deserves a shout out. Ryan was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable of the menu and most importantly, kept our glasses topped up all evening.
The restaurant is beautiful with the blossom tree and clever use of mirrors, which made it feel bigger without losing the intimate feeling. The service was possibly a little over keen, with the waiter checking in a little too often but then that is better than being ignored and he was super helpful, explaining each dish as it arrived. We went for the 2 course set menu at £29.95 each. We had pork dumplings and wild mushroom and black truffle spring rolls for starters, which were both delicious. We also added XO scallop skewers (not on the set menu) which were cooked perfectly. For main we both had wok fried angry bird, which comes with complimentary jasmine rice. We added a side of spicy noodles and Chinese green beans. There was an abundance of food and we didn't manage to finish the green beans and rice, though the waiter offered to box them up for us. The angry bird was really tasty and initially seemed not too spicy, until I mistakenly ate a large piece of chilli, so be careful! I had 2 glasses of savignon blanc, whilst my partner had 2 crouching tigers and a brandy to finish. The meal came to £176, with drinks being around £15 each and the service charge already added. The only real negative was the monotonous music that was playing constantly, not an actual song just really repetitive tunes, none of which you would know. All in all, I would recommend Tattu but would be sure to book after pay day!
Another great eating experience. My partner and I shared the half peking duck. I had 50 day aged fillet beef and she had black cod. We shared green beans and broccoli. Amazing flavours, great service from Margaret and cracking cocktails and fizz
