We came here for a birthday meal and was greeted with excellent food, superb hospitality and a warm atmosphere. Nestled within a beautiful spot in Chapel Allerton, if you’ve been thinking of visiting this hidden gem then think no longer and book your table at Umee sushi.

We went here for a weekday lunch recently, and were so impressed! The sushi was all so fresh and tasty, and omg the pork belly bao buns were delicious! We loved it and will definitely be back 😊

We visited Umee Sushi for the first time today and it was delicious! The restaurant was relatively quiet, the music was descreet and the decor is very pleasant. Some people in the reviews mentioned it's too quiet, but we really enjoyed this as we could actually talk to each other without shouting. Service was brilliant and the waitress was very polite and explained the dishes well. Miso soup was 10/10. Yakisoba noodles delicious, although slightly to salty for my taste. Ramen with veggie gyozas was superb and a really large portion. Mochi with green tea were bitter, but really interesting and pleasant. Jasmine tea was also 10/10. The waitress said they use loose leaf tea. Prices are very reasonable considerin is Chapel A. We will definitely be back again 😀

WOW! We visited today for the first time and WOW the food was incredible. The restaurant was quiet, but the atmosphere and service was still fantastic. I enjoyed the music, food and service. I had veggie gyoza, edamame, ingiri nigiri and tofu curry, everything came fast and was absolutely delicious! I cannot fault it, nor can I recommend this place enough!! Great and tasty vegetarian/vegan options!
