Free Miso soup as part of a Monday student promotion and a chicken sushi box. The 20% student discount didn't apply properly so I didn't get it discounted, however, the staff was lovely and professionally friendly. I was allowed to choose an onigiri for free, which would have been similar value to the discount price. Happy with the food and experience! 🍣 😋 Recently bought Chicken Gyoza, and I found that the Gyoza sauce leaked out of the little sauce pot 🙁 It was very tasty! I just wish the pot didn't leak.
Being a sushi lover, Wasabi is one of my go to spots if I’m in Leeds city centre. The ingredients are fresh and really good quality. The only thing that could be improved is the avocado — it sometimes turns brown, so a bit more care with preserving it would make a real difference. Maybe something to slow down the oxidation or more airtight storage. Also,Would it be possible to offer a lighter soy sauce option? Something a bit less sharp would be perfect. Also, The service is always spot‑on, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming.
If you're hungry and in Leeds' downtown and want something satisfying, flavourful, and in a reasonable portion that's not fancy but also not quick food, you've come to the correct place! The store is lovely to be in and has a clean, organised feel. Employees are polite and helpful. Meals: A perfect ten. It's all perfect—the chicken and rice! Mokii: the pink ones in particular are like nothing from heaven! Costs: affordable for anyone!
Salmon Poke bowl was delicious. I ate in for this and it was nice. The temperature of the food was perfect. I went back again this time for delivery but unfortunately the salmon poke bowl wasn't available this time. The website recommended Korean BBQ beef ramen and stated it was popular. I was very disappointed with it. There were probably 5 slim pieces of beef in the whole dish. I wouldn’t get this one again. The sushi was nice though which my daughter had.
Very good tasty sushi and other hot foods. Their sushi is really authentic! The restaurant is located in city centre, very easy to find it. They also have takeout or delivery. The Japanese curry is very delicious. There are some Japanese snacks and desserts in the shop and they definitely worth trying!
