<p><strong>Office Administrator Assistant &amp; Companies House Compliance Officer Assistant<br />Leeds City Centre</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>Office based (no hybrid working)</strong></li><li><strong>5 days per week</strong></li><li><strong>Full Time, permanent&nbsp;</strong></li></ul> <p><strong>Please note: you must be authorised to work in the UK</strong></p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive and reliable office administrator assistant and&nbsp;Companies House compliance officer assistant, with a strong focus on Companies House&nbsp;compliance and office administration. You will work closely with clients and our internal&nbsp;teams.</p> <p>This role is ideal for someone with excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, can&nbsp;work independently as well as part of a team with a can-do approach, the ideal candidate&nbsp;must have proven experience of working within an accountancy practice.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <p><em>Companies House Compliance</em></p> <ul> <li>Prepare and file confirmation statements checklists, file confirmation statements,&nbsp;deal directly with clients on changes and obtain relevant documentation; and filing&nbsp;any company updates</li><li>Maintain statutory registers and company records</li><li>Ensure timely submission of Companies House filings</li><li>Monitor compliance deadlines and alert management of upcoming requirements</li><li>Assist with company incorporations, changes to directors, PSCs, and registered&nbsp;offices</li><li>ID Verifications for clients and PSC’s</li><li>Assist with client on boarding and ongoing client due diligence reporting Administration Support (mostly cover for holidays, sickness and busy periods)</li></ul> <p><em>Administration Support (mostly cover for holidays, sickness and busy periods)</em></p> <ul> <li>Provide general administrative support to the business</li><li>Maintain accurate records and documentation</li><li>Handle correspondence, emails and filing systems</li><li>Answering and making telephone calls</li><li>Diary management</li><li>Typing correspondence (letters and emails)</li><li>Preparing and formatting documents (letters, engagement letters, reports)</li><li>Updating the central client and contacts databases</li><li>Handling incoming/outgoing post and office supplies</li><li>Meet &amp; Greet clients in reception</li><li>Ad hoc general day to day office tasks and supporting the partners and accounting&nbsp;staff</li></ul> <p><strong>Required Skills &amp; Experience</strong></p> <ul> <li>Working knowledge of Companies House requirements</li><li>Working knowledge of an accountancy practice and the terminology</li><li>Previous experience in an office administrator role</li><li>Strong organisation skills with exceptional attention to detail</li><li>Experience of using Companies House</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a client-focused approach</li><li>Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently in a structured manner</li><li>At times be able to work under pressure</li><li>Good time management and the ability to prioritise</li><li>Confident communicator with a professional manner</li><li>Comfortable using Microsoft Office and networked systems</li></ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary (depending on experience)</li><li>25 days holiday per year plus bank holidays; plus an additional 3 days over Christmas&nbsp;when the office is closed</li><li>City centre parking</li><li>Full time employment – Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm with 1 hour for lunch and Friday 8.30am to 4pm with half an hour for lunch</li><li>&nbsp;Supportive and professional working environment</li></ul> <p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p> <p>If you’re a hardworking, motivated, organised individual with a passion for accurate digital&nbsp;record-keeping and client service, interacting with people and working with a team who are&nbsp;all about providing a good service and getting the job done then this role is perfect for you,&nbsp;and we would love to hear from you.</p> <p><strong>Please click 'Apply now' to submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining your relevant experience.</strong></p> <p>Other suitable skills and experience includes Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, Companies House Administrator, Company Secretarial Assistant, Compliance Administrator, Client Services Administrator, Practice Administrator, Business Support Administrator</p>
