Zest4Talent is proud to be partnering with a growing and forward-thinking Building Services Consultancy seeking a Senior Energy Modeller to join their Leeds team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Building Performance or Energy Modelling professional who enjoys combining technical expertise with innovative sustainable design strategies to help deliver high-performing, low-carbon buildings. Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, you'll play a key role in analysing, modelling and optimising building performance across a diverse portfolio of projects. THE ROLE ✔ Deliver dynamic simulation modelling and building performance analysis ✔ Undertake overheating assessments using CIBSE TM59 ✔ Carry out operational energy modelling in accordance with CIBSE TM54 ✔ Support compliance assessments including Part L and SAP/SBEM ✔ Develop passive design strategies including orientation, shading and natural ventilation ✔ Analyse thermal performance including fabric performance, heat loss and thermal bridging ✔ Work closely with mechanical, electrical and sustainability teams to optimise building performance ✔ Support clients in achieving energy efficiency and low-carbon design objectives WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR ✔ Strong experience using IES VE ✔ Building thermal performance analysis experience ✔ Dynamic Simulation Modelling (DSM) expertise ✔ Knowledge of overheating assessments and operational energy modelling ✔ Experience with Part L, SAP and SBEM compliance ✔ Understanding of HVAC systems and energy optimisation strategies ✔ Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and energy standards ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities ✔ Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams PROJECT SECTORS Commercial Education Residential ⚡ Critical Infrastructure Healthcare Leisure & Public Sector WHY JOIN? ✅ Hybrid Working ✅ Exciting Sustainability-Focused Projects ✅ Career Development & Progression ✅ Supportive Technical Team ✅ Growing Consultancy with Strong Pipeline of Work ✅ Opportunity to Influence Low-Carbon Design Strategies ✅ Modern and Collaborative Working Environment Please note: Candidates must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK.
