Client Director (Remote)

We're looking for an ambitious and experienced qualified accountant with a track record of successfully managing client relationships and developing high-performing teams in accountancy practice. The opportunity As a Client Director, you will: Lead and oversee client relationships, ensuring exceptional service quality and long-term success Coach and mentor a team of finance managers to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful reporting Act as the senior escalation point for complex client matters and strategic decision-making Maintain key client relationships while empowering teams to manage day-to-day communications Oversee onboarding and transition processes, creating efficient outsourced finance department structures Drive continuous improvement across service delivery and operational processes Monitor portfolio profitability and KPIs, ensuring strong commercial performance Support career development and progression within your team Identify growth opportunities through upselling and cross-selling additional services Review complex VAT returns, annual accounts, and management accounts to ensure technical excellence and compliance About you To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with experience in a client-facing role in an accountancy practice. You will be technically strong, with people management experience, and a positive attitude. This is a remote role, so you will have experience of and be keen to work from home.
