The Opportuni ty As Client Manager, you'll take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, acting as their trusted advisor while leading and mentoring a team of talented accounting professiona ls.You'll play a key role in delivering exceptional service, identifying opportunities to add value, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the fi rm.This is far more than a compliance-focused position. You'll work closely with business owners, helping them make informed decisions and achieve their commercial goa ls. Key Responsibili ties Managing a portfolio of owner-managed business clients across a range of se ctorsBuilding long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted ad visorReviewing accounts, tax returns and advisory work to ensure accuracy and compl ianceLeading, mentoring and developing team members through coaching and regular performance su pportIdentifying opportunities to provide additional services and support client g rowthManaging workflow and ensuring deadlines are consistently ach ievedSupporting practice improvements and operational efficie nciesRepresenting clients with HMRC when req uiredAttending networking events and contributing to business development initia tives Abo ut You We're keen to speak with candidates wh o have: ACA or ACCA qualification (or equ ivalent)Previous experience in a client-facing role within an accountancy practiceStrong leadership and people managemen t skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building a bilitiesCommercial awareness and a proactive approach to client serviceGood technical knowledge of accounts, tax and practice compliance requ irementsExperience of audit work would be beneficial but is not e ssential
