Electrical Engineer 11kV
<p><strong>11kV Electrical Design Engineer</strong></p> <p><br />Our client, a leading player in the energy sector, is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their Low Carbon team on a permanent basis. This role focuses on substation, distribution, transmission, and energy projects, providing a unique opportunity to work on landmark projects and contribute to a sustainable future.</p> <strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong> <ul> <li>Leading and developing cost-effective engineering solutions to complex problems.</li><li>Delivering projects at various stages of development including Feasibility Studies, Concept Designs, FEED Studies, Value Engineering, and Detailed Design.</li><li>Preparing and developing Electrical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, cable calculations, cable block diagrams, plant layouts, cable routing, cable containment design, switchgear configurations, and producing bill of materials/quantities.</li><li>Collaborating with equipment vendors to develop and evaluate equipment design packages.</li><li>Assessing the condition, risk, opportunity, and need for intervention of electrical assets.</li><li>Developing proposals and bids for the EC&I discipline and contributing to multi-disciplinary proposals.</li></ul> <strong>Job Requirements:</strong> <ul> <li>Degree or similar qualification in Electrical Engineering with significant experience in electrical design, operation, maintenance, and testing.</li><li>Chartered Engineer or working towards IEng/CEng and a member of a relevant Engineering Institute.</li><li>Ability to take on a lead role in the development of Electrical deliverables and the assessment of assets.</li><li>Knowledge of design, construction, and operation of power and energy projects.</li><li>Understanding of design processes and experience in producing calculations and commissioning, operation, maintenance, and testing of medium and high voltage equipment and systems.</li></ul> <strong>Benefits:</strong> <ul> <li>Opportunity to work on high-impact projects in the energy sector.</li><li>Supportive and innovative work environment.</li><li>Professional growth and development within a global organisation.</li><li>Chance to contribute to low carbon power generation and conversion technologies.</li></ul> <p><br />If you are an experienced Electrical Engineer passionate about making a positive impact on the world, we would love to hear from you.
