CitiPark Merrion Centre & First Direct Arena

Pre booked for a concert, on arriving there was a queue to get in and an attendant asked if we had a reservation. All good, drove in, then on the 7th floor another attendant stops the car and says it’ll be about 2 hours to exit from the 8th floor (the only one with spaces). Due to babysitting limits we had to leave the concert half an hour early because I was so worried about getting stuck in the car park. If they’re so clearly aware this will happen there should be a warning on booking so you can choose if this is something you can manage. Also the top floor was under 2 inches of water when we arrived and left. BUT the spaces are wide..

Perfect location. As with all city centre car parking extortionate prices. Situated at the northern end of the city centre it's perfect if you are shopping close or near that part of town. The walk down to the main part of town can easily take 30 mins so if you intend on being there a while expect spend close to £10 for your parking.

Spot on for parking right next to First Direct Arena. Booked on line and having used citipark before was on £10 for 6 hours. Be prepared to wait to leave though after a gig. Took us 45 mins to exit.

Absolute shambles of a carpark. Explain the logic of how it takes 90 minutes to exit a carpark. Event or no, that is an insane amount of time wasted. There was no clear system in place at all. Horrific. Avoid at all cost.

It's the only car park in the City Centre I'll use. Well connected to the city and let's you avoid the vast majority of Leeds' traffic if you're coming in from the West. For shows staff at the entrance warn you it will be an extended wait to get out. In the 6 years I've been using this multi-storey for gigs, I have always been in and out in minutes by simply leaving 2 songs before the end of the show. The car park is always clean, has running CCTV, and is well worth the extra money if you dont want your back windows smashing in at Woodhouse. If you have anything bigger than a hatchback some of the turning may be a little tight.
