Central car sales Leeds

I had a terrifying experience by the men who run this establishment on Tuesday. I was actually attending a group with my toddler at the adjacent business to central cars called Craftea and was using the free public parking available on Penraevon Avenue recommended by Craftea. Whilst trying to park a man pulled into the space I was about to park into. As there was another spot, I thought nothing much of it and parked in a space opposite an industrial unit. On exiting my car with my toddler, bags etc and heading into the cafe, a man from Central cars Leeds thought it was an appropriate time to tell me to move my vehicle. I pointed out that I was not blocking his business in any way and I had already exited the car with my child and was running late. (Had I been blocking his business I would have seen his valid point, apologised and moved my car) he continued to intimidate me on my way in but without giving a clear, professional and coherent explanation as to why I should move. On return from the Cafe group and on my way to an appointment, my stomach dropped when I saw my car fenced in by 2 vehicles (I have attached photos showing I'm facing an industrial unit). I then had a terrifying experience taking my toddler into the Central Car Leeds office to plead with the 3 men inside to let me out. There was no apology that maybe they had taken it too far, they seemed gleeful and "bang to rights" to be in a position of power, arrogant and intimidating a defenseless mother and child. They only moved one car in the end. Watching as I did a 60 point turn to leave because I was still partially blocked in. I was upset to tears. What they did was a crime. Under section 54 of the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, restricting the movement of a vehicle by any means, intending to prevent its removal by a person otherwise entitled to remove it, is a criminal offense and will be logged and reported to the police. I have no idea what they are like as a business but they are bullys and find pleasure in intimidating the vunerable and seemed to hold a particular distain for women. They seem to think they own the entire public street and instead of speaking to nearby businesses as to how to share the free parking spaces they bully members of the public instead.I would hesitate to do business with people who have this kind of character. I have attached photos showing my car in the middle, the man from Central cars and his 2 vehicles blocking my exit. Appalling!

Trustworthy friendly and very helpful. I purchased a Range Rover sport from these guys and the car was just as advertised. I waited a few months to post a review. Car is running very smooth, had a small electrical issue with the seat and Majid was very helpful throughout. Highly recommend. Thanks

We got a car from here a few months ago now and it is brilliant. I didn't want the headache of buying a car because of looking for them, travelling, test driving, admin, insurance, tax, driving it as new to you - and then sorting out any further niggles. However, I am.very very happy with this garage. The staff are very down to earth, helpful and friendly and their cars are all really really good. It made it pleasurable and stress free as possible. I recommend 100%.

Spotted a car on auto trader and called to get more information and they were very helpful with no BS. I live quite a distance away but was in Manchester for work the next week so decided to go over when I had finished to view. Called ahead to make sure the car was still available and when I got there, they got the car out for me and left me to it. Took it for a decent test drive and spent about 3 hours there without anyone hassling me which made a surprising change for a car dealership. There were a couple of minor issues which they said they would resolve, but overall the car was in excellent condition for the year and mileage. Asked a ton more questions, negotiated the price, paid the deposit and arranged to pick up the following week. When I picked it up, the things that needed doing were done to a high standard and they even washed the car again whilst the paperwork was being done and making me a coffee. I have waited to write this review until having had the car for several weeks and clocking up a couple of thousand miles. The engine doesn't miss a beat and I thoroughly enjoy driving this car. Great purchase and such nice people to deal with, and judging by the other cars on the lot, they seem to stock quality and have higher standards than other used car dealers I have had the misfortune to deal with. I wish I had discovered Central Car Sales years ago. Pleasure to do business with, highly recommended.
