Hertz Car Hire - Leeds - Leeds South

If I could give zero stars it would be too high. Hires a vehicle on coprate on the 13th asked for a auto, not got any gave me a manual and told me there will be a vehicle available on 14th, then said if I want to change vehicles I’d have to go to Manchester airport to collect a auto. agreed a time and date for the following date 15th confirmed via email with Ivan, when I got to Manchester Ivan tries telling me that he knows nothing about it while huffing and puffing, when I have a email of him responding then gives me a minibus as apparently he has nothing. I called corporate who told me to go Leeds with the minibus as they now have a auto, got Leeds got given a polestar which was dirty but took it as I had no choice, 5 days later it breaks down, when AA come out they said the car broke down on the 14th with the same fault and needed to go in garage, so should not have been hired out to me, got recovered to hertz and the bloke who had been dealing with me was acting as though I don’t exist avoiding talking to me and only speaking to the aa man what an absolute joke of a company. Seems like the main skill to work for Hertz seems to be incompetence

Never had a bad experience with hertz. This time they made sure we had the most comfortable vehicle possible in the booking to help with elderly family members on the trip

Recently rented a vehicle over 3 weeks whilst waiting for a company car. It also meant getting extra paperwork to take the car to Ireland. Jenna and Paul could not be more friendly and helpful. The guys I dropped off with were friendly also. Very professional service. Refreshing change. Setting a good standard. Good car, good rate.

This branch of Hertz really sets the standard when it comes to service. It's a large facility, but every one of the staff we had contact with did a first rate job. Initially I was very impressed with the rental rate for an electric car: they were offering a very nice Polestar 2 for £100 less than any petrol car for our 10-day holiday hire. When we got there to pick it up we were greeted by Jenna, who is absolutely charming and completely efficient. We were on our way very quickly, having been given a comprehensive introduction to the car's innovative technology. On our return, we were greeted by another employee who was equally warm and efficient, and who checked us in very quickly. We ordered an Uber to take us to the train station, but when the driver failed to find the Hertz facility (!!) he simply cancelled our booking. Jenna, who had come to make sure everything had gone well with our booking, immediately volunteered to have someone drive us to the station and quickly found a very nice employee who was glad to oblige. We made our train with just a few minutes to spare, thanks to Jenna and the Hertz team. You really couldn't fault them for their outstanding performance on all counts. There is no question where we will be renting from if we need a car in Leeds again. Thank you, Hertz Leeds South!

This branch of Hertz is genuinely one of the best I’ve dealt with, Jenna & Paul are always extremely helpful and always willing to go the extra mile for the customer. Couldn’t ask for a better service from them. Would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks as always guys 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
