I was referred here by NHS 111 and felt very anxious after reading the reviews. In reality, the staff were kind, calm and reassuring. The dentist handled my urgent issue efficiently and gently. As an emergency service, it was absolutely fine. Thank you. But for non-urgent or chronic cases, it’s better to book a regular dentist, as this service focuses on basic treatment to prevent things getting worse before a full appointment.

Ignore the bad reviews The bad reviews nearly made me cancel & i am so glad i ignored them as i had such a good experience with a kind dentist. I was in severe pain due to a cracked tooth which had a lot of decay in it The dentist did an x ray, explained what had happened whilst letting me look at the x ray itself. She removed the decay, cleaned the tooth and bandaged it with a temporary filling. I am now not in any pain at all. She explained the entire process & then she gave me a list of dentists who are taking nhs patients. The treatment was absolutely excellent from start to finish. Thank you so much

I arrived today for my appointment and was greeted by the receptionist who handed me the forms to complete. I was called in shortly after and was attended to by Saadia the dental nurse and her assistant. Their communication and customer service were exceptional from start to finish which put me at ease and alleviated any concerns I had. I would highly recommend their practice. Thank you again. Avoid, avoid, avoid! I was sent here after calling 111 about my dental pain and as soon as I was in the clinical room with the dentist Sadiyah I felt uncomfortable. She had a really dismissive attitude, and whenever I asked her advice/opinion for the pain I had been experiencing, I was told she can’t give me any advice… absolutely ridiculous - why do you think I’ve came to the dentist then? All she could do was present me with two ultimatums: have the tooth extracted or the nerve removed. However if I chose to have the nerve removed she said she could only provide half of the procedure!!! Like what?? I then would have to find a dentist which is nearly impossible currently, so I opted to get the tooth extracted just to relieve my pain. What has made me really upset and annoyed is I’m now a week after the extraction, and I’m in more pain than I was prior and I will now have to pay to get a dental implant privately, as the tooth removed is my front molar essential for chewing and quality of life. Perhaps if I was warned of the value or potential to save my tooth, I wouldn’t have felt pressured to get it removed. Lastly it seems I’m not the only one having issues with this practice. There needs to be a serious investigation in to how things are run.

Took my boyfriend here today due to severe toothache…for many days & referred by 111. It took almost a hour to get there. it was obvious the tooth needed extraction. He Is very scared of the dentist but really needed it to be out. He was given the option of a route canal but they would only be able to do half the job and he would need the rest doing else where. Or if he wanted an extraction it’s a likely possibility it would brake and if so they didn’t have the correct tools to get any broken bits out! so probably be best to be referred. I was listening on the other side of the door & I knew all the negative possibilities would put him off….i understand you have to be told of possible outcomes but the way it was explained/spoken about… it was as if that lady didn’t want to do any of the procedures. Unfortunately he was then too scared so opted for a referral. I did go into the room mid way because I wasn’t happy with what I was hearing & how he was put off. He was given antibiotics and now awaiting a referral. Who would expect to go to a dentist and be told they can only do half a job or it’s very likely it’s going to go wrong but if so they can’t put it right!?
