Was unable to get an appointment at my usual surgery so attended the craven road practice. Saw Dr. Bayer who was absolutely wonderful. A very kind and compassionate Doctor and I felt really listened to during my consultation. Very much appreciated
Would really recommend Dr Sonia Ali! Compassionate and kind as we worked out what was wrong over the course of about five months. I know its sometimes hard to find the right GP to listen in short appointments, but Dr Ali was great 💗
I’ve had a great experience with Craven Medical Centre. The staff have been extremely friendly, understanding, and very accommodating to patient requests. A special mention to Dr. Ali for her outstanding service—she is always professional, attentive, and genuinely caring.
The practice seems to be filling up with a new breed of doctor who doesn't appear to care about their patients at all. Their only objectives appear to be to get you to take as much medication as possible (as this is the only answer they have) and then to get you out of there as quickly as possible. I was asked to take blood pressure readings for a week at home which I did. When I gave the readings to the doctor she had no interest in them and has done nothing with them, they're not even mentioned on my medical record. Another doctor I saw had no interest in helping me when I reported serious issues with my mental health, she said I could try and claim benefits if I was sacked for being off work! Not one ounce of sympathy, empathy or competence.
