Friendly and professional service provided by all the team at York Road, felt like a caring family business (as W Roberts once was) even though it is now a Coop branded operation. The care and respect given felt genuine, which is all you can ask for at such a sad time. Thank-you Darren, Jeanne and Gemma for your care and helping us through my mum's final journey.
The guys at the co-op on york road looked after my grandad aswell as us all as a family we could not fault anything they was always there to talk to and made us all feel very welcome from start to finish everything was spot on thank you so much for giving my grandad the best send off as thats what he would of wanted🙂
Co-op were amazing with my late uncle. Throughout the entire process they kept me informed and were more than respectful, they were even child friendly as we had to take my son due to not having childcare. I couldn't ask for more from them and they couldn't have done more for my uncle. So for that I want to say a massive thank you to everyone at co-op funeral care at York road.
I cannot praise Co-op enough for the care and compassion they gave me, my family and my late father. Would especially like to thank Jeanne, she was fantastic.
My dad passed away April 2025 and was taken in to the trusted care of the COOP funeral care team York Rd Leeds. From the start the team including Jeanne, Gemma, Darren and Sarah went above and beyond to ensure my dad and as a family were supported and cared for until he was laid to rest. As a family we were able to visit the Chapel when needed and comforted by the patience and understanding of the team. At such a challenging time for us as a family the team left no stone unturned allowing my dad to be peacefully laid to rest and supported me with every step to ensure his last wishes were granted. I can’t thank the team enough for their kindness, patience , professionalism and service shown. Since the funeral I have since been supported by the COOP in selecting his headstone and again the team have provided an exceptional service and have gone above and beyond making such a difficult time somewhat more bearable. Thank you x
