What can I say, Jak has always been my go-to for hair updos, haircuts, and I couldn’t have imagined anyone else doing my hair for the wedding, along with my bridesmaids and mother in law. Thank you so much, Jak, for making me feel absolutely beautiful on my special day🥰😍😍😍 I received so many compliments, the look was flawless and held up all night long, just like I hoped. Jak was calm, super friendly, attentive, and really listened to what I wanted. I’ll strongly recommend Jak to anyone, overall, superb service.

Friendly staff and lovely salon but too expensive for what you get. I paid £50 for a wash and style and asked for it to be sleek straight with curls at the bottom. Instead it turned out frizzy within 30 minutes. I do have naturally curly hair so I understand it is difficult to style but when you pay £50 you expect more. Think my stylist was in a rush to get home. For reference I usually pay £35 for a blow dry at my usual salon and the results are much better / not frizzy.

I booked a colour correction appointment last month to fix uneven warmth from previous colour. But unfortunately I was left with visible banding (which was not there before) just below my roots, and uneven tone throughout my mids and ends. After the first toner the banding was visible, so she put toner on for a second time and it looked fine after that. However, after only washing my hair once, the banding was back and unevenness visible. I emailed the salon after noticing this, but I received no response. Luckily another hairdresser fixed the banding in one appointment with just a gloss. Given that I paid a decent amount of money for what was supposed to be a ‘colour correction’ with someone experienced, I expected a higher standard of work. Having to sign a form like it’s a contract before my appointment should’ve been the first sign.

Booked a cut and blow dry with Becca and she was fantastic. Really friendly and gave me some good advice in relation to caring for my hair. My hair looks great and I would really recommend her. I have never had a hairdresser take as much time in cutting and styling my hair

I was on holiday in Leeds and saw Renaissance hair salon as I was walking by. I popped in and was greeted by a friendly receptionist who promptly made an appointment for me. A few days later I had the pleasure of meeting the lovely Amy who took her time to ask what I wanted and took my hair type into consideration. I have very thick, course hair. Not only did I walk out with a fantastic cut that is now easy to maintain, but she showed me different styling methods to help me to style it at home. Thank you Amy for a great morning and for making me feel gorgeous! I wish I lived closer to Leeds 😪
