My daughter was sent here after a traumatic birth where we both nearly died. The staff. Doctors. Nurses. Everyone was amazing. Did everything to help me as we was sent and I only had 3 days worth of clothes and 70 odd miles from home. Can't thank them enough for all there amazing support and care.
My sons appointment was at 12pm he's been fasted since 7.30am. He has autism and very limited speech and we are still waiting for a bed for his treatment 2 and a half hours later. He was seen by a lovely nurse called Nichola which is the only positive.
I arrived at the hospital at 11 a.m. for a repositioning of a tube into the intestine, as it had moved into the stomach. The entire day, the staff knew what needed to be done. At 6 p.m., I was told there was no doctor available. We are spending the night here completely unnecessarily, and a cannula is being inserted for no reason. The inability to secure a doctor is leading to pointless procedures. The patient has been without food and water all day. This is an absolutely inadequate approach. We are wasting an entire day and night in the hospital due to complete incompetence.
Fantastic staff members, very clean hospital environment.
Busy, all staff encountered helpful and friendly
