24 laundromat

The laundromat is great — clean, easy to understand, and convenient to use. However, it would be very helpful if the Google Maps listing could mention that the last wash is 40 minutes before closing time. I arrived 35 minutes before closing, and since both washing and drying take around 30 minutes, I thought it would be enough, but it turned out not to be. Please consider adding this information on Google Maps. Overall, the place is really helpful, especially during the winter season.

Strait forward automated launderette, could use more dryers given the number of washing machines. Doesn’t appear to have any staff, is completely automated, card only, no cash! Clothes appear to be clean and dry. There’s a small folding table. There are NO baskets to transfer loads between machines or drying table. Prices were fair: £7.90 to was (including detergent, medium sized machine) £3.90 to dry.

Very clean, modern, easy to use. Card payment only. Dryers work well but only four stars because there are only three tumble dryers and only thirty minute increments in drying time selectable. There are a few 24 hr slow dryers, but not practical if you're traveling.

love this place. my only issue is: PLEASE GET MORE DRYERS! despite the notice saying that customers who have washed with us, dry with us first, many people swoop in with prewashed clothing and nab the dryers, of which there are only 3 (there is 9 washers) and you end up waiting around.. and sometimes even having to slightly argue or clash with folk about who's next to use a dryer. it's even worse when someone brings a years' worth of sheets and takes up all 3 dryers, leaving people waiting around. love the place, please get more dryers. ta!

This review is just complaining of the price of the tumble dryer. Up to a couple of weeks ago, it used to be 3 £ for 40 minutes drying time. I noted now that it has increased to 3.90£ and the time has been reduced to 30 minutes. So usually that’s not even enough and I would have to top up another 3.90£ to dry my clothes completely. If they were going to increase the price then at least the drying time should have remained 40 minutes.
