The ladies there have just rescued me, my inhaler stopped working whilst I was in Leeds and I was struggling. They got me an emergency prescription sorted quick. Thankyou.

Four staff behind the counter. No other customers waiting. None of them could be bothered to help

Came here to ask for a blood pressure check on Saturday, 8th March. I was refused the blood pressure for the first time in a few years on the basis that it wasn’t due to hypertension. I explained that because I have a direct relative who has high blood pressure (my father), I qualify and meet the eligibility criteria. He still refused, which wasn’t very nice, and it was quite surprising since this was the first time that I had been denied a blood pressure check at Boots. As a black female, I can’t help but think that this was also partially due to the pharmacist being an old white man, and if I were of a different race, this wouldn’t have been the case. The fact that for over 3 years, if not considerably longer, I have been getting my prescriptions at Boots, puts a distaste for the brand overall based on this experience. The essence of getting the blood pressure check is to check if I have high blood pressure as a result of my medication, as well as a history of my dad having very high blood pressure. There are two key criteria on the Boots website, and I met one of them. Quite disappointing

I arrived at Boots concerned because I felt weezy and had left my inhaler at home with 15 mins until my train. Charles was extremely helpful, reassuring and professional and he guided me through the 111 process and I had my inhaler in record time! Thank you so much for the excellent service :-)
