Unkind pharmacy, I wasn’t given an essential part of my prescription to allow me to actually take my medicine. Needles missing. Insisted on dealing with my prescription in extremely close proximity to other customers which was totally unnecessary and where there wasn’t proper space - had to reach over a wall rather than be dealt with at an actual till and counter. The only words spoken to me was “next?”, “date of birth?”, “name?”. It was unpleasant and unprofessional and now I have to arrange a second trip and request for the rest of my prescription - I don’t have time and this is interfering with my ability to take my medicine. I am raising a formal complaint because boots are refusing to send me the rest of my prescription. When I consider how little it costs someone to be friendly and sensitive about healthcare prescriptions and how important that is to making sure patients are able to self advocate, check understanding and get the right items at the right time, it shows how abusive the people are who run this counter. The attitude was one of obvious lack of care whether you get what you paid for - and as I result I didn’t and can’t take my medicine.

So bad , left my son who was struggling with tonsillitis, issue with his prescription which they could have easily rectified to go home . A quick call from me and suddenly they managed to help him . What happened to the old caring boots that I remember, so sad it’s come to this . Remember to be humans first !
