Safestore York is an absolute rip-off. I paid for a storage room and because of their incompetence, I ended up with nothing more than a pallet — for even more money than the room itself. On top of that, they flat-out refused to refund me for the days I didn’t use. Shocking service and zero accountability. Do yourself a favour and stay away from this place. The Store Room in Leeds is miles better — professional, transparent, and they even refund you for unused days. Safestore York is the exact opposite: terrible, greedy, and not worth your time or money.
