What can I say! I can't recommend James enough. The whole experience from 1st chats to final fitting were amazing. Fabulously formal without a hint of "stuffy" - the perfect balance to make everything feel special without being daunting. My suit is everything you'd expect, stunning quality, perfect fit and amazingly comfortable.

My husband visited James having read such fabulous reviews from clients. He had never had a suit made before so was a little apprehensive about the process, he needn't have worried the whole experience was fantastic!! James was friendly and welcoming, he listened and advised us about all the options and I can honestly say the end result was superb!! My husband had a three -piece tweed suit made for our daughter's wedding next February and he can't wait to wear it!!. We would definitely recommend James to anyone wanting a suit tailored to their personal requirements. From start to finish it has been an amazing experience, so now all we need to do is wait for February!!. Thank you James for everything.

I had heard this place was the best in the north west from colleagues who had purchased suits here in the past but it surpassed my extremely high expectations from the start. James is a kind , caring professional who takes you under his wing from the start,guiding,listening and suggesting throughout the process until youre both happy with the style ,material and craftsmanship. James is a true master of his craft. From the moment I walked into his tailors, he made me feel at home with a glass in hand and talk of all things tailoring. I had a very specific idea of what I’d wanted for my wedding suit, a 60’s vintage style with all the bells and whistles. He knew exactly what details would look good for my shape, his incredible knowledge of quality fabrics and what goes together made the resulting suit more incredible than I could have imagined. I can’t thank him enough for making me feel the best I have ever felt on ‘the big day’ and couldn’t recommend him highly enough for anyone looking to have a suit or anything else tailored. Looking forward to going back as soon as I can find an excuse.

Easy to run out of superlatives to use when talking about James. The experience of having a suit made with Michelsberg is as much about James as it is about the suit itself! I came to James in need of a suit for my wedding with my parents and my (now) wife and he took great care of us all. He has a meticulous eye for detail and an expansive knowledge of fabrics and cuts. I went in knowing next to nothing about suits and left having relatively strong opinions on lapels - who'd have thought? All said and done, James helped create something that was more of a second skin than a suit for me to wear on my wedding day. And damn - I looked good. What an experience - I'd recommend James to anyone wanting to have a wonderful experience and to receive a garment of outstanding quality.
