OK Comics

Found this shop whilst in town checking out other similar destinations (travelling man etc) and thought this place compared rather well. A large and varied selection of titles could not fail to satisfy most tastes. The real highlight for me though was the room upstairs. Light and airy with a large leather sofa nestled under the window, an outstanding quiet reading space in an otherwise busy location where you can allow yourself to be taken away to other worlds with a comic before you decide to buy. If I had one problem with this place it would be the name. This is so much more than just OK Comics.

Can't rate this shop highly enough. Truly great staff & stock. Been in a couple of times over the last few years & given the staff my nephews age & asked them to pick a selection. Today I asked for books for a 10-12 yo boy as a gift for Leeds Hosps Charity gift collection and I was given a substantial discount. Truly kind of the shop. Stumbled across this absolute gem whilst wandering around Leeds on a weekend break and wow! It's like something from a fairy tale just covered wall to wall in exceptional comics, graphic novels from small indies to large distributors. My son was looking for a specific comic when we walked in and they instantly picked it (and it's sequel) straight from the shelf near the door and their service and compassion made him feel especially welcome too ❤️...AND there's an upstairs too with even more gems tucked away to discover ! Can't wait to use the mail order service to support this amazing business in future. And thanks for the recommendations, it's obvious when people know what they are talking about instead of just working in a shop that sells Funko pops....classic comic shop at the top of its game. Love it

Great store for comic & graphic novel lovers. We regularly visit this store and they always have the newest comics and if they don’t have what you are looking for the lovely staff will order it in where possible. The shop is small but that adds to its character in the charming arcade. Give it a visit and support local.

Exceptionally lovely comic shop with a vast amount of stock, with unusual, unique items, from book plates to beers! I was especially surprised by the depth of range and also that they had such an excellent selection of European comics and such a large quantity of very good value back issues. Anna was very helpful and we had a superb couple of hours, browsing and buying. Well worth the visit, indeed worth traveling to.
