Simply Pleasure

This review is exclusively aimed at the stores return policy - the staff are extremely friendly and we've been customers here for many years and we've never had an issue until now, but unfortunately their returns policy is not customer friendly. The toy we bought has an intermittent fault that only happens during use and I explained I have been unable to demonstrate the fault outside of using it for it's intended purpose. The store said they can test it in store and if it works there's nothing they can do, this is an issue as the fault is only happening during proper use and not idle. This essentially leaves us with a toy that cost £140 that doesn't work properly during use. While the staff and area manager were understanding, ultimately there is nothing they can do and we are left £140 down. We prefer to shop in-store but this experience has definitely put us off in favour of online, as online consumer laws offer much more customer protection. I hope the store looks at their policy and how it can protect customers better for the future.

I visited Simply Pleasure (Leeds) to get something for the girlfriends birthday. Initially I was very nervous as it was my first time in such a store but was greeted by the staff and put at ease straight away. I was amazed by the wide selection of Toys, DVD's and bondage items and was offered all the advice I needed and found them to be extremely helpful. I left feeling very satisfied with my toy purchases - Even took advantage of their 3 for 2 offer and the pair of us are over the moon with our new products. You'll definitely be seeing our faces again!

The staff are wonderful and this review is not aimed at the store staff but management. You have lost my custom by not allowing people to try fetish clothing on/or accept any returns. Rubber is incredibly expensive and needs to fit. The rubber community is very close knit and always ask for recommendations for retailers. I would suggest that you don't bother to stock fetish items unless you can do it properly. Every other fetish retailer I've ever visited has been happy to accommodate in any way possible and then end up with my repeat custom. The fesish community has very expensive hobbies and the management be wise to think on that.

Brilliant store, was in the area and thought I'd have a look as I've been in a few different stores of theirs. It had 2 floors and I was glad I paid them a visit they had alot of goodies to chose from. Loved the 3 for 2 or 4 for 6 toy and dvd deal, the staff where amazing and so helpful, If your in the area then go!!
