Tarbett's Fishmongers

Let's be honest they are not the cheapest and will never be able to beat the supermarkets on price. However the quality of produce and service they give is second to none. I can call up ask for some tuna or monkfish or bass or whatever and it'll be there on time, packed and of excellent quality. If you want good fish and don't mind paying a little more for it you will mot go wrong with these people. Tonight's tuna was as excellent as ever. See the pictures :)

Bought fish and prawns. The fish was very fresh, but I’m not too sure about the prawns. They were also a bit expensive compared to other fresh fish shops.

This is my new favourite place. The fish is incredible, the oysters are out of this world. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. What more can you ask for

Excellent salmon and pleasant staff! We are from the States and staying just across from Tarbett’s. What a wonderful selection of fresh seafood! We bought sushi grade salmon from here and made a huge platter of salmon sushi for our friends!! Delicious 😋

I can't speak highly enough of Tarbett's! I recently ordered a platter for a celebration not only was it excellent value for money, the quality of both the product and the service I received were second-to-none. The team really know their stuff and gave great recommendations for the size of my party, and everyone commented on how fresh and delicious it was. We'd never go anywhere else for fish after such a positive experience; in fact, we enjoyed it so much, we are considering placing a regular order to keep our home fridge stocked year-round.
