Giant Kitten

What a fun and interesting shop this is. Lots of retro toys and stylish outerwear, as well as trinkets and collectibles for the home and more. I was looking forward to making several purchases here after having a browse and being impressed by the variety of cool things (clothing and otherwise) on display. Unfortunately the staff seem to be very keen on alienating potential customers by being aggressively rude to anyone interested in spending money in store. Don't ask about the merchandise, and don't try anything on. Whatever you do, don't meet their gaze, in case they sigh theatrically and snatch the items from your hand. Whatever kind of business they're attempting to run would do better if the staff weren't so offended by the existence of the customer. Perhaps they fear profit. Perhaps they were sorely let down by those they trusted. Whatever the reason, their joyless customer service drained my will to live and I left, without spending my money, before I chose to end it all by suffocating myself on a novelty sock.

Visited and bought some dungarees. Lovely helpful assistant. When I got home I wished I’d bought the others I looked at too. Saw they were available to buy online. They arrived the very next day ! Really pleased. Great communication. Definitely recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The poor reviews are so accurate. Experienced the same rudeness from a member of staff recently. Male with bright yellow hair to be exact. Other staff seemed fine but this gents attitude was poor. Avoid if you want to be treated fairly and with respect. 👍🏻

I absolutely love this shop, they’ve got some really nice clothing. It isn’t cheap but it’s very nice quality clothing.

Giant Kitten is a bit bigger now , well it’s grown since my last visit , added 1/3 to the size with an extra room to the right. Stocked with more of the great stuff my daughters love … when ever we visit leeds a trip isn’t complete without making the effort … and today it was though to torrential rain.
