What a fantastic service we recently received when selling an item to Leevans. They valued the piece at a good price, which we were delighted with, and the money was in our account within a couple of hours. We would highly recommend.

I'm afraid I can't recommend. Here's a direct quote from their website: "Unlike some scrap gold buyers, we are home to a large selection of pre-owned and antique jewellery, therfore we value each stone set item as an individual and dont just pay the scrap meatl value.". So I travelled to Horsforth with 16g of 9ct gold. One of the items is a 9ct gold bracelet set with a total of 1ct in diamonds. None of the items were damaged and all could be re-sold. My offer was £400! That's just £25 per gram at a time when the spot value is closer to £33. Did they actually value the diamonds, or just offer a very poor and not at all competitive price for scrap? I was previously offered closer to £460, and that was just scrap value.

I have a weakness for weird old jewellery, particularly ruby rings! A friend of mine recommended Leevans and seeing as I like a nosy around Horsforth I thought I'd give them a go. I've taken a fair few rings to them for sizing since and have always found them to be professional and the rings come back sparkling. I've never left a review for them before (just lazy!) but Ive just collected two rings from them and frankly I'm so impressed it warrants it! The band's on both rings are ridged so I was expecting a noticeable join or a plain section but they are just perfect! The standard of workmanship is fantastic. An added bonus is the fact they are cleaned/polished so well so look stunning. I would not hesitate to recommend Leevans for anyone wanting restoration/repair work. They have also got a beautiful selection of jewellery (I have to go in with blinkers on 😂)

Ring sent in for resizing and valuation came back with a loose and wobbly stone and my name was spelled wrong on the valuation document. When I went back a second time for the ring, there was no apology and not even a smile or an acknowledgment of the issue. Disappointed with the standard of service for the money I paid.
