It's very rare now in the cities and towns to still have a vibrant market, Leeds is blessed with two, one outdoors and the biggest indoor market in Europe. If in Leeds come along and support these two very rare places. Good value products, knowledgeable traders, banter and great food 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
The outdoor market is, logically enough, next to the indoor Kirkgate market. It has a fruit & vegetable section, in the rest you find stalls mainly selling clothes, but also second-hand DVDs, etc., for cheap prices. Some fast-food places too
One of the Great Places in Leeds. Handy for the bus station and has a lot of starlings.
An atypical outdoor Market, as you can see in any place. Not complete, need to improve.
Great for fruit and veg, very reasonable prices and plenty of variety. Beats supermarket prices. Well worth checking out if you haven't been before. The traders are very friendly. Lucky to have a place like this. If you're an environmentally conscious kind of person you'll love this place as the majority of fruit and veg is packaging free. ♻️
