If there was 0 stars I would have definitely gave them that. My sister bought £60 worth of Labubu’s yesterday after been told they were real by the owner. After taking them home and opening them they were so clearly fake. She took them back today and came across a really lovely women who was serving, she explained the issue and the women got another women to come over as she didn’t know how to go about the situation. The women who came over was beyond rude. Rolling her eyes saying comments to belittle her and make her feel stupid for “not knowing they were fake for the price she paid” even though she was directly told by the boss they were real. The women then called the owner and told him about the situation which then she went on to say “well yh any normal person would know they weren’t real” she was so patronising and made her feel uncomfortable. Anyone that has to deal with this women in the future I feel bad for. It costs nothing to be nice. With that attitude she should not have a job that serves customers face to face.
I had the unfortunate job of having to deliver here for a previous company i worked for. The onwer isn't pleasant, has a bad attitude and thinks he his far superior because he owns a shop. He will turn a delivery away for petty little reasons and he is what would be his own worst awkard customer. I'd quit a job before i would ever deliver to this shop again.
The shop manages to be competitive with prices vs a supermarket which goes to show how much supermarkets rip people off. Shame about the local childrens behaviour though outside the shop although I'm not sure what the shop could do to end that.
The reason why I am giving this corner shop a one star is because my child was once accused of stealing at this shop, the shop its self is in a poor state as it is, not only is she being accused but her friends are now being accused of the same issue. I for one know my daughter would not do such an stupid thing as stealing but then to be banned for the accusation of stealing is outrageous . Have nothing against anyone who goes there but this is something that needs to be sorted out
Really nice and clean shop, very friendly staff, especially a young man called Lee who went the extra mile for his customers. Services include, paypoint, lottery, alcohol, fresh sandwiches, coffee machine, free cash point, post office, newspapers, magazines, frozen foods, and a large selection ofenergy drinks.
