Pets at Home Meanwood

This is the second time I take my little dog for nail clipping and the groomers are the loveliest! They do such an amazing job!! I can't thank enough the to ladies that did the nail clipping today. He doesn't like to have his nails done but they always manage to help me! I can't thank them enough!

the care of the animals in this place is abominable, the food bowls are empty and if there is any scraps it’s the poorest quality food which is full of dye and sugars which causes diabetes. The cages are TINY when rspca states 100X50 on top of this the only cages pets at home have available is 50X39 which is way under the appropriate size, hamsters need 6-8 inches of bedding and the cages have no where near this, there is straw in the cage which can cause blockages in there intestines. If the care of these animals is this poor the life span will be shortened which is wrong to be selling potentially poorly hamsters and other animals, the animals are clearly distressed as they are pacing the windows of the cage and gnawing to escape showing stress which is unfair. There is no excuse for the appalling care you and a lot of other pets at home stores are giving if you cannot afford to give the hamsters the care they need whilst in your presence you should get rid of selling these rodent mill animals which is equivalent to puppy farms where they are bred in large numbers with no attention paid to taming. It’s utterly wrong!

Slipped and hurt my back in store on an unsigned wet floor. Nobody did anything, head office not returning calls with promised, no accident report no nothing. They didn't even put signs up to say the floor was still wet! Be careful!! Someone needs to warn you as the store staff aren't bothered, nor are head office it seems. Save yourself an injury.
