St Johns Centre

A decent shopping mall with a good selection of shops catering to a range of needs. There are also some fast food restaurants in here. A decent little shopping centre, though it does feel its age. Could do with a little modernising but it has plenty of shops and is always nice and clean. Charity events are varied, they do a lot of good work for the local area. Staff are trained to be dementia friendly, along with being able to help and support many other needs and conditions. A good option for a little browse, especially when the weather isn't as good as it's all indoors.

There have decorated the place beautifully this Christmas and the shops are doing alot of deals and offerrs

St John's centre is ok. A lot quieter than it used to be in its heyday. I always remember walking through here and it was heaving with shoppers. Today to me it seems like a shell of its former self. Most of the shops are affordable like McDonald's and Poundland. Even though it's very quiet it has always managed to stay clean and tidy throughout. Hopefully one day more shops will reopen inside here or the council will probably say that it's not worth keeping open and demolish this shopping centre for students accommodation like they have done everywhere else in town . It's quite sad to see lots of the shops empty inside here to what it used to be like

Nice little shopping centre. First visit in about 30 years. Was nice to see "better" shops nestling aside the likes of Poundland.

Bit tired, but the cafe is nice and the trade me in store was good while it lasted. I like the 80s/90s retro-nostalgia arcitecture and hope it doesn't modernise that part of the experience.
