Decathlon bike workshop staff are absolute legends mate! The sign said "workshop closed" but security said I should go up and book in, so I did. When I got up there, I told the staff the problem and they immediately put my bike in one of their swanky auto stands and changed my pedals straight away! No charge, just "give us a review", so here it is. Such a pleasant experience, thanks so much!
