The good: ideally located close to the train station. The room and bathroom were large. The bed was comfortable. The bad: Central heating radiators not working especially in the bathroom. 2 old electric radiators provided, one of which I had to use, but chord not long enough to reach bathroom. The shower tap (the bit you have to lift to use the shower) was unscrewed. I could not screw it back so I could not shower. Not sure I would have wanted to shower in a cold bathroom anyway. There was also a severe draft causing cold air to hit me in bed. It was strong enough to open the bedroom door and I had to wedge the suitcase against it to stop the door from opening. The carpet tiles in the staircase are in need of replacement.

Great value ultra central budget hotel a few minutes from Leeds station with ok WiFi and a convenient ironing room. There was some noise on the Tuesday night from bar music but this finished well before midnight. Not luxury but fine for a night or two with work and conveniently opposite an off licence and a really good curry place (Delhi Wala) with Tesco or Sainsbury local only around the corner.

Apart from the overpowering smell of the sewers upon entering (which I attributed to the ongoing road works outside the premises) this place has everything you could ask for in the heart of the city.Brilliantly located across the road from the train station & within a few minutes convenient walk of the bus station. Although my room was a wee bit dated it was clean, tidy, well stocked, well appointed and most importantly very quiet for such a busy night around the city. Staff are prompt, courteous, efficient, very helpful and most importantly very professional & pleasant. The cost for a midweek stay was reasonable given its very central location and I will be back here again any time I pass through Leeds.

The hotel you could see from Leeds railway exits. Literally 3 minutes if you dawddle and window shop. Reception took a minute as she was chatting to another staff member but the booking was completed in a timely manner. Room was small but I was there to catch a 7am train to Plymouth and for £39, a steal. Room was immaculately clean as was the shower and bathroom. All the furniture matches so no complaints. Check out was easy and another couple of minutes I was on the platform. I may book for when we come back from Edinburgh ☺️

Didn’t really enjoy my stay as I will regard it as average. Location is really good and the room was just okay. Breakfast had no egg, beans, sausages, bare minimum is egg, there was none, that really put me off…anyway, it was just for a night and I am definitely not going back there.
