Description

Still in the planning phase, The Eastgate Quarters retail and leisure regeneration project will bring over 1 million sq foot of High Street retail and leading premium fashion brands to the city, anchored by flagship John Lewis and Marks & Spencer stores.

An extensive catering quarter will also feature, offering everything from a lunchtime snack to casual evening dining. Restoration of the Grade II listed Templar House will form part of the development work, set around a dynamic new public square, which is already earmarked to be a new site for major city events.

The scheme will also shine bright as a model for sustainable development. The site will include a Low Carbon Energy Centre to deliver power to the surrounding residents and businesses.
