Wonderful gig tonight at 7. The great venue and the absolutely brilliant musicianship of the Pete Roth Trio made it a very special evening. To be sitting watching one of my idols of over 50 years, (that’s not a typo) from less than 5m is something I will never forget. Venues like this are to be cherished as are the experiences they facilitate. Thanks to all.
A very well-run community café with friendly service, good coffee, and comfortable seating. I especially appreciate the effective sound insulation, which keeps it pleasant and quiet even during busy hours. Some seats offer a nice view of the outdoor patio and let in plenty of sunlight through the large glass windows. The building also houses a community theater that hosts excellent (as well as in my opinion slightly questionable) shows.
Attended a sold-out gig here last night. Music was great from Boo Hewerdine and Yvonne Lyon. Lovely bar/cafe and courtyard space. Good value drinks with efficient staff - only a short wait. Plus no queue for the loo!
Really great venue! Used for our daughter's dance performance, it was great to be able to see so easily (especially for our youngest) and it was a lovely place to get to. Shame it was chucking it down and the parking was very busy.
Community style cafe- bar / arts venue with friendly staff, regular entertainment (concerts and comedy at extra charge) in their small theatre with intimate ambience and good visibility of the artistes. Serving crisp pretzels and nuts, or you can buy takeaway locally and consume it in the cafe, they assured me (check on the day though!) Alcoholic or coffee/tea with oat / soya milk options. Disabled access and 1 X separate wheelchair accessible toilet (no radar key needed) comfy lounge area, wooden dining tables & chairs plus outdoor patio style seating out front. Adequate/patchy WiFi [ 0.34Mb/s i e. SLOW Download, but fast 2Mb/s upload) with easy to set password. NO dogs.
