The Mustard Pot

First time visiting, came in for drinks and was blown away by the polite and quick service of the staff on duty, adequately priced and a good selection of spirits available to choose from on the back bar.. will hopefully one day be able to try the food as when visiting on a Sunday it gets VERY busy so booking in advance is highly recommended.. all In all a fantastic experience and would highly recommend people come to try the drinks and food on offer!

We held our daughter’s baby shower here and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. The food provided was excellent — very fresh, diverse, and served in generous quantities. They were also extremely thoughtful and professional in how they handled allergies, which we really appreciated. The room itself was attractive and comfortably accommodated around 40 guests. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout, assisting us with moving chairs and tables and allowing us to decorate the space exactly how we wanted. Nothing felt like too much trouble. I would highly recommend this venue for a special occasion and would like to extend a big thank you to all the staff for helping make the day so enjoyable.

Having been to The mustard pot before I was severely disappointed with the quality of food and service in general . This meal was meant to be present to the in-laws however after waiting 1 hour for food , the food came out lukewarm with a freezing Yorkshire pudding and one cut of meat on mine and my partners plate. Not to mention missing items from the meals no pork crackling and stuffing on any of the 4 roast meals that we had . One meal had to be sent back to be warmed up, other tables around us was facing the same issues and the table behind us having waited longer than us had to leave with no food after a horrendous wait. Despite having only 10% discount knocked off the bill , which definitely wasn’t enough after the wait and state the food came out in . We were all a bit in shock to still have to pay the amount that we did . The management of food service and delivery all round needs to be paid more attention to ! Please see photo attached !

We had our baby shower in the Colman room yesterday and are really impressed! The bartender and staff that helped out with the event were so attentive, both in person and whilst communicating over email. The room itself was ideal and fitted 40 people well. The buffet food was also very nice and there was plenty for everyone. Overall I’d definitely recommend! Thank you so much ☺️
