About Us
The New Conservatory Café is a very special place, a unique mix of old-world grandeur, lounge-bar cool and vintage shabby chic. It’s a piece of hideaway heaven in the heart of Leeds. We offer a huge variety of world renowned beers, local ales, spirits, wines as well as cocktails, tea and coffee. Our menu offers a wide variety of dishes from something light, freshly made sandwiches to your favourite home cooked favourites. We offer a wide selection of vegetarian dishes and have an extensive gluten free menu. We’re open seven days a week from 12 noon until late serving food until 9pm every day except Sunday when the kitchen closes at 6pm.
Happy Hour
You can also take advantage of our Happy Hour between 5pm and 10pm daily with selected beers, ciders and spirits at 2 for £5 with Red, White and Rose Happy Hour Wines at £9.95 per bottle.
Sunday Roast
Perfect for a relaxed Sunday with friends and family and only £8.95 per person. A choice of three meats served with crisp roasties, mashed potatoes, cauliflower cheese, seasonal vegetables, rich gravy and of course, Yorkshire pudding.
Early Bird Menu
The New Conservatory is close to Leeds’ Grand Theatre, City Varieties and the West Yorkshire Playhouse. We offer a speedy 2-course dinner for theatre-goers at the great price of £10.95 or 3 courses for £13.95. Bookings are recommended.
Live Music
Every Thursday night from 9pm you’ll be in good company at our Acoustic Open Mic Night hosted by Toby Thorne, who performs covers of well known songs, old and new. You can book a slot via our Facebook page or pop down and join us

Whatever the occasion, we provide everything you need to celebrate in style. We can reserve various areas of the bar for exclusive use, and offer a wide variety of menus to cater for any type of get together. Whether it is a birthday celebration, work get together or corporate event, let us know how you want to celebrate either by phone or via our website and we will be in touch.
