Leeds City College has joined up with The Flannels group, one of the country’s largest independent luxury retail groups, for this exciting new enterprise. The Food Academy showcases the College’s most talented trainees in its own restaurant in a prestigious city centre location, while complementing the high quality products and services associated with the Flannels brand. After completing their training with Leeds City College, those students who have excelled in the kitchen and front of house have the opportunity to be employed as apprentices at the restaurant, providing invaluable industry experience in a professional, high quality environment. On the menu are lighter alternatives to breakfast, an All Day menu consisting of grazing plates, salads and sandwiches, as well as a comprehensive A La Carte lunch menu and classic afternoon tea. All the dishes incorporate high quality seasonal and regional produce and meet customer expectations for variety, excitement, versatility and the unexpected.
