Cheap and cheerful, £5 for 18 holes? Can't go wrong. No st Andrews, but good just for practice at least.

I have been playing at city golf for around a year with my grandson,he in new to golf. What a lovely place, the staff and management are fantastic always happy to have a chat. The course is not the biggest, but when your new to the game or simply not a big hitter it's ideal. Would highly recommend to anyone taking up golf or just wanting a relaxing game and at the price you really can't go wrong

Great place for a nice quick game of golf, it has really reasonable prices, the course itself is not that big but it’s perfect for me who’s just starting out playing golf with my wife. They also have golf carts you can borrow for a pound. Just like every golf course in the world this golf course is best played in the sun shine, afterwards you can also pop in to goals for a well earned pint 😁

The old adage you get what you pay for really applies here. It's £5 for 18 they say, I'm semi compitent and lost 2 balls round this course. There's the potential to lose half a dozen or more so factor that into your costs. Extremely short holes the shortest being 60 yards, narrow fairways and horrible greens make keeping scores pointless here. It hasn't rained at this point for approximately 2 weeks and the 9th green was unplayable because of how water logged it was. The 2nd green had divots so large they'd swallow your ball and the other greens weren't much better. The 6th tee box had 2 middle aged fellas sat drinking cans of lager like they were at the park. A little off putting when you're teeing off 10 yards in front of them. All in all a decidedly miserable round.

Cheap and cheerful unfortunately being allowed to rot. Endless tickets sold. No tee times. You can wait up to 25 mins to play between holes.
