Brilliant hotel gym. Located over 2 floors. Not as well equipped as most dedicated gyms but great for a hotel
I used this gym using the hussle app, the guy on the reception (Singh I think) was very nice and explained everything to me which was good, gym itself is smallish but has most essentials as expected also good quality machines. The real issue is the pool and changing rooms, they desperately need updating. The changing rooms were reminiscent of something you might see in “The Shining” and the pool was very shabby, the jacuzzi was attached to the pool with a rather bizarre bridge and was cold and also felt a bit like being assaulted as the jets were so powerful, I got out after less than 2 minutes. The whole pool area stank of amonia and the steam room was absolutely blazing hot to the point where I couldn’t breathe so also had to leave after less than 2 minutes. The sauna in the changing room however was very nice and was quiet as it was not directly next to the pool like in most gyms. Probably won’t use again unless just for the gym.
From the very entry it was smelling weird. Ladies changing room is fine, but the showers and toilets are dirty, all floor is wet, and it’s barely dripping from the shower. The gym rooms are very small and selection of trainers is scarce The pool also leaves much to be desired - warm, like we are in the bath and very chlorinish water. Lots of kids splashing it all over you and at least 6 cctv’s along the perimeter
Came here to improve my swimming, with Swimnow, who are excellent. Joined the gym to add Rowing to my swimming, and it’s a fabulous place. Really look forward to going here. Staff are helpful and friendly. Gym is terrific, rowing machines, the best I’ve used, pool is perfect for improving swimming/ drills. A totally feel good experience. Would recommend this to anyone.
Really nice swimming pool with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room, if you get membership you get towel every time and staff are very friendly and helpful. Not many people in the pool, most of times it's only me when I visit it. I highly recommend this.
