Fab time watching Ice Hockey for the first time. Paid for parking via App. I underestimated how long the match took and had to extend my parking. Entrance was from 3.15 and finished 7pm ish. Good entertaining evening.

My friends and I was having a fun time at ice skating but by the end of the it, I was left fuming! We’re just kids who had wanted to have a good day but one of the staff was genuinely so rude to us. My friend’s shoes were mixed in a different spot and the staff had wanted to know details about the shoes. My friend has social anxiety so I did most of the talking for her but none of us knew what brand the shoes was, but she knew how it looked. But the staff continued to give us attitude asking “What brand is it?” when we told her we didn’t know, but we did provide a lot details about the shoes. We even shoes her a picture of her shoes, but coincidentally, someone also had the same pair of shoes, so the staff was rude telling us “it’s not yours” when the lady had already put on her shoes? It made no sense to us whatsoever, and made us mad but we made sure to stay kind. One of the staff finally showed us the pair of shoes but the rude staff kept asking if it was really ours, she then took it away from us and I was sure I heard her telling the other staff “I KNOW ITS NOT THEIRS”. How rude? Why would It not be ours? Would we just stare at someone’s shoes and go like “Hey, their shoes looks amazing, let’s steal it!” and show them the EXACT picture of the shoes? After that, she ran off with the male staff, leaving us alone with no help for our shoes, we wasted a lot of minutes, and we was going to be late for dinner. By the time she came back, she was RED on the face, with such an angry look and slammed the door on us! She gave us the shoes and instead of apologizing, she put the blame on us and told us “Don’t swap out skates blah blah blah This has never happened to me before” Excuse her? Would she rather my friend be in pain and feeling horrible? And who cares if it has never appended to her before, it happened now so she best deal with it. We finally walked out and I saw the lady with the same pairs as my friend, so I was left confused. How did the lady manage to get her shoes without issue but we were accused? At this point, I thought it was racism considering my friends are all POC and both of them was white, but In the end, I believed it to be discrimination against kids. She is an adult, and yet she threw a whole attitude towards kids who was trying to be nice. That lady didn’t look like she complained about her shoes being too small so I really don’t get why we couldn’t get my friend’s shoes early? She made my friend stand on the cold, wet floor with no shoes. I understand if she was having a bad day, but that gives no excuse for her to being a jerk towards us who didn’t nothing wrong. Staff needs to get better 😒

A nice venue to watch ice hockey in the UK. The raised seating makes it difficult to see the entire pitch during the game and there is a clear blind spot in the section of rink directly below your stand. The other facilities are all good and it is easy to walk around the rink. There is also a good bus route to and from the rink, making it easily accessible.

Love watching Leeds Knights play here, great vibe with a good view of the rink wherever you are. Plenty places for drinks and people about to buy a range of tickets for games etc from. Just wish the sound system was better as the commentary isn't always the easiest to hear/understand. Ample parking within walking distance.

£18.93 for 1 adult to stay 2 hours with rented skates! My hometown's ice rink price is 8.80€ euros, rent included, for all-day skating. When I visit you, I expect your ice-rink to be freaking perfect my dudes. Toilets be clean, employees be smiley and etc.
