Robert is a professional practising artist. His wealth of creative experience and tutoring spans a 25 year career to include his ever popular adult education classes and workshops throughout Yorkshire. These classes inspire a variety of students with many creative ideas in a relaxed and friendly environment. Robert is also a very popular demonstrator to enthusiastic audiences at many regional and national art societies.

Robert has established a growing reputation for his distinctive and versatile style, winning many prestigious International awards for his creativity.

He regularly contributes to ‘The Artist’ magazine and has his paintings featured in 'International Artist’ magazine on a regular basis. He frequently exhibits at the Mall Galleries in London and many other prestigious national galleries to include the Royal Academy.

Background
Robert's outstanding artistic abilities were evident from an early age. Having developed a unique expressive and recognised painting style, utilising a variety of media, he is now a recognised and admired artist and tutor winning many prestigious awards.

Since exhibiting his expressive award winning paintings more extensively since 1997 (following a successful commercial career as a professional graphic designer), Robert has established a continuing growing reputation amongst corporate and private collectors alike. Corporate sector clients include directors of NatWest Bank, KPMG, Bass Breweries, Wigan Council and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, amongst many others. His work can also be found in numerous public and private collections throughout the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United States of America.

His work is exhibited widely through local and national open art exhibitions and galleries including 'The Pastel Society' within the Mall Galleries, London and The Royal Academy. He is a professional member of the Society of All Artists (SAA) and has articles regularly published in "The Artist", "International artist" and "Paint" magazines.

With a natural ability for drawing, Robert can demonstrate a variety of subjects in different media and encourages students to use different painting techniques and explain about art materials with his extensive knowledge and practice, explains about composition and how students can get the best from their photos and sketches.

Robert demonstrates for art societies across the UK and teaches weekly adult education classes. His popular weekend workshops and more recent residential holidays in UK are highly praised.
