Kirkstall Leisure Centre

I’ve been attending this leisure centre for over a year now, and I’m really disappointed that the same issues still haven’t been fixed — especially this out-of-order hairdryer. It’s been broken for months (if not longer), and even now that it’s winter, nothing has been done about it. It’s frustrating for regular swimmers and students who rely on basic facilities like this after sessions, especially when it’s cold. It gives the impression that the centre is more interested in making as much money as possible while spending the least they can on maintenance and customer care. After a year of the same problem, it’s clear that customer comfort and health aren’t being prioritised. Really disappointing from a place run by the council that should be looking after the community.

That's the worst swimming pool I have ever been to. It's very disappointing. It's old, small, the showers smell like urine, and the lockrooms are not clean. There are also plasters and hairs in the grids at the bottom of the pool... It costs £5.70 for 1 hour, which is very expensive for that kind of service. I do not recommend it.

Absolutely horrific, left traumatized……as a young child I used to enjoy swimming here, innocent, pure, and carefree, until….about four months ago. Enjoying my leisurely swim, briskly in the water I discovered small floating particles enveloping my goggles, slowly raising my head above the surface I glanced at small human vacating the area, I thought to myself, why were the little beings leaving the pool and what was I being left there, treading water, befuzzled in particles, to my disgust, the child needed to relieve itself in the very water I was swimming in, went home that day, still shock, convincing myself I was making it up, maybe it was just dirt, but all that hope left me when I woke up the next morning with pink eye. That whole experience has left me never want to step into that center again. I don’t recommend, but everything else other than the tank of terror is good :) never ever swim after a baby session unless you want to live with flashbacks and nightmares. Tennis courts are good 👍😝

The pool was decent. But the changing rooms were absolutely disgusting. The changing rooms had biscuit crumbs all over the floor and the showers had mold all over the shower head. There was also hairballs all over the changing are , I’m sure they never clean the rooms. It smelled like urine.

Unfriendly staff at front desk. My sons 1st birthday today took him swimming for the first time. Pool was COLD not even luke warm. Unfriendly life guard Wasn't allowed to take a picture of my son in the pool with no one else in sight - no signs up to state this either. Won't be returning
