⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Lovely Surprise at the Carriageworks Theatre The Carriageworks is a great, cosy little theatre with a really welcoming atmosphere. The staff were brilliant from start to finish—friendly, helpful, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a good time. Even the bar prices were excellent, which is always a pleasant bonus. I went to see the Pinocchio pantomime and, being an amateur production, I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect. I ended up being pleasantly surprised. The quality of the whole show was far better than I anticipated: lively performances, great energy, and a real sense of fun throughout. Accessibility-wise, the theatre is a bit of a tight squeeze when navigating in a wheelchair, but both the staff and the other audience members were incredibly polite and accommodating. Their kindness made the experience much easier and added to the overall enjoyment of the visit. A charming venue, a great show, and a genuinely positive experience. I’d happily return.

First time visiting this lovely little theatre. Went last night to see Annie. Brilliant amateur production and the venue was a a pleasurable experience. Plenty of staff, all very helpful and friendly. Decent bars on 2 levels and reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend.

Went to see a production of A Christmas Carol, performed by Adam Z. Robinson of The Book of Darkness and Light. An absolutely brilliant performance. Dark. Moving. Humourous. Superbly balanced.

We had a lovely theatre experience with our toddlers at the carriage works. The venue is warm and welcoming and the staff are very attentive, kind and chatty, asking if we had enjoyed the show etc which was really nice. I would recommend a visit. We watched Christopher's Christmas and the kids loved it! Really lovely performance and so interactive for the children. Will definitely book again.

Lovely theatre, good location. Staff were friendly and the Pantomime was very good! Only criticism would be that it’s slightly cramped with the seating.
