I ordered Half a Roast Chicken and Chips. I got half a Burnt Pigeon and 🍟 Fries. Not Chips. You would think a proper Chef would know the Difference.
Usually have a Full English with a cup of Tea if I'm starting late. Always a decent meal, good portions, sets me up braw for the 5hr haul to Scotlands Central Belt. The 2 ladies are friendly and make you feel welcome. As I say, I'm a returning customer and never had a bad meal.
Love this place. I dunno how they can have maximum yoke and never any underdone white 😍 very good pricing small breakfast, drink and bread £5.90 but they do amazing dinners as well and take away.
Good place to stop on way back from up north. Right next to a petrol services as well you can have 2 hours parking but let the garage know if you are there longer they will sort it out for you.
Proper old school diner with good British food. Julie was a sweetheart and the boss was a good man. Would highly recommend.
