River Mountain Experience

Loved every minute of our tandem kayak down the River Ure from Ripon to Boroughbridge, for our anniversary. David was very helpful and patient with us, providing lots of information leading up to the trip to.make sure everything went smoothly. We got lucky with the weather and it was quiet so just perfect. Thanks very much, highly recommend!

Enjoyed a fantastic day out with a rental from David and Helen at River Mountain Experience. David helped us with planning, was quick to respond and very knowledgeable of what would work for us practicing our canoeing with our dog. Had a day rental from Boroughbridge, where David met us, to West Wick lock. Would highly recommend and will certainly be using rentals again and taking up future available courses with David and Helen.

Great course and David was a patient knowledgeable instructor. It was extremely informative and I'm sure we all learnt a lot from the day. I recently booked a full day kayaking trip with River Mountain Experience from Ripon to Boroughbridge as a group of friends. I cannot fault the service we received from RME. Communication and booking was easy, very responsive to emails. On the day everything ran according to plan, all kit provided was to a high standard. Once kitted up we were taught the basics of kayaking and how to keep safe whilst enjoying our day on the water. Nothing was too much trouble and David was always on hand to offer tips and support when needed. David is a really friendly and knowledgeable man, who is clearly very passionate about kayaking and canoeing. We all felt very safe and had a brilliant day on the river. I would not hesitate in using River Mountain Experience again in the future and will be recommending to friends looking for similar excursions. Thankyou!
