I can’t recommend this experience enough! We’ve now attended twice and it gets better each time. So much love, care and attention is put into the event from start to finish. You begin outside after the bus drops you off and come across the food and beverage section where you can have a yummy hot dog, burger, hot chocolate , or Yorkshire pudding wrap plus others 😍. Next you nip inside for some songs and a little boogie , entertainment and to warm up from the chill of the winter weather. Following this it’s time to ride to the North Pole on the polar express! This is where the magic truly begins, the chefs, the ghost and the conductor take you through the story book, interact with every single passenger nobody is left out throughout the journey. Then of course it wouldn’t be the Polar express without HOT HOT… yeah you got it, it’s hot chocolate time with a yummy scrummy cookie 🍪 ☕️ Next thing you know we’re at the North Pole, we experience the magic of Christmas and a special visitor may just pay you a visit & make sure you get the first gift of Christmas 🥹🔔🎅🏼. Whether you’ve got littles, older kids, teenagers, a group of adults or you wanna take the trip alone EVERYONE is welcome! Train lovers & story lovers alike will love every second and this is the PERFECT Christmas event to get you fully ready and super excited for the Big man to visit on Christmas Eve 🥹. I wish I could put into words how magical this is, it’s so immersive and you truly feel the most festive & cosy you’ll ever feel. We’ve adored both visits and fully intend to continue visiting. We’re a group aged 51, 33 & 18 now and will forever hold a special place in our hearts for this wonderful experience. If you’re considering it DO IT I promise you won’t regret it! Photos are from Christmas 2024 ❤️

Absolutely fantastic day out. Going for the first time i was happily emotional, from the conductor to the chefs on board it brightened our journey and experience. We all got christmas nicknames too. The tray with the cups on was great. We truly do believe

I had a great time at the polar express yesterday afternoon. I took my 1 year old on his birthday with my partner , cousins and their children. I would say it was probably abit to much for a young child (loud, loads flashing lights, tight space) but I would take him again when he is around 4/5 years old. Entertainment on board was great and the cookie/hot chocolate nice addition. Best santa yet, was really nice and friendly, as was all the staff on board. Could of been better organised in the tent prior to boarding as one staff told us to move all away down the bottom but then another told us to stop crowding at the bottom, one point we were all like sardines sweating. The parking wardens at the Leeming service station were also rude and huffy. Other than that it was a fab experience nethertheless , magical for the kids :)

We love it, it magical for adults and children alike. Our grandchildren for the past 3 years love the singing and dancing in the carriage, hot chocolate, cookie & of course the Christmas star of the show Santa. Our silver bells are placed on our Xmas tree as soon as we get home. It jump starts our Christmas season. Making us all feel festive. I love to see all the families all in same Christmas pjs, kids get very excited to go on the train and they always come home with a souvenir from the gift shop.

Wow what an experience the polar express at Wensleydale was. Me and my partner took our 3 children ages 15, 6 & 5. They all absolutely loved it! It was so magical, fun, and an experience we will all never forget. They’ve not stopped talking about it and want to go again. The wait for the train was so entertaining the entertainers singing was amazing and the shop was full with merchandise. The outside part wasn’t that expensive, the kids loved to roast the marshmallows in the fire pit, which was safe for the children to do under supervision. There was food and sweet stalls available, the toilets was very clean and immaculate. The train pulling up to the station is where it all started, the conductor introduced himself and got the passengers ready to board the train with his famous words. The train ride was enjoyable, fun, full of laughter and smiling kids faces, lights weren’t too much that changed colour. The Santa visit was so real, he didn’t come with a fake beard he had a full grown beard, was so polite and entertaining, took his time with each child, stopped for photos and made conversation with them. The story was magical, entertaining to watch and wasn’t just presented by 1 person they all made it fun and enjoyable to watch. Showing the kids the book and pictures pointing to what they was up to. The man from the roof of the train I believed to be a puppet until he came out and was moving I was in shock, he was amazing at what he did. The hot chocolate and cookie, wasn’t no cheap stuff they was perfectly made and delicious, they even counted for any allergies and made sure they came out with the correct stuff. Every paying customer recieved a bell from Santa, and there tickets hold punched with the first letter of your name. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone, even if you have no children it’s amazing for adults too!!
